Our History

History of Enviro-Systems

Enviro-Systems, Inc.’s history begins with Prime-A-Pac.  In 1992, Prime-A-Pac, a supplier of concrete pump primers, cleaners, polishes and concrete removers, was incorporated.  The company was dedicated to developing and providing products for the concrete pumping industry.

Between 1992 and 1995, Prime-A-Pac created and marketed two concrete pump primers: Prime-A-Pac and Slick Willie.  In October 1995 an automated bagging machine was placed into operation for both primers.  Prior to that date, an employee had the tedious task of hand-bagging all of the products.  Up to this date, Prime-A-Pac had mainly focused on concrete pump primers, and, finally, in 1999, Slow Willie, a concrete retarder, was introduced into the market.  With the addition of Slow Willie, Prime-A-Pac was well on its way to establishing itself in the concrete pumping industry by providing both pump primers and a retarder.

One of Prime-A-Pac’s most popular products, Crete-Buster, was introduced later in 1999 with great success.  Because of the ever-expanding business, Prime-A-Pac moved into a new and larger location in Smyrna, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.  With this move, there was a new and larger warehouse that allowed a larger production area which allowed orders to be produced and shipped more quickly than ever before.

In early 2000, a new product was created and placed in the concrete pumping market: Willie-Shield.  Willie Shield is a splatter coat/release agent that prevents a variety of materials from remaining on surfaces.

In the upcoming years following the introduction of Willie Shield onto the market, various other products were created and placed on the market again.

In January 2004, Enviro-Systems, Inc., an environmental products and services company, proudly announced its groundbreaking concrete waste management system for controlling cleanup waste from concrete line pumps, boom pumps, deck pumps, and ready-mix trucks: the EnviroSac bag.

The EnviroSac showed great promise whose popularity exists today.  In August of 2004, Prime-A-Pac expanded its business by purchasing Enviro-Systems and making it a part of Prime-A-Pac.  Up until 2006, Prime-A-Pac and Enviro-Systems operated using both names.  In 2006, Enviro-Systems dropped “Prime-A-Pac” with its name to show that the company was environmentally-conscious and to help avoid confusion as “Prime-A-Pac” is also one of the company’s pump primers.

Enviro-Systems maintains an ongoing research program to identify opportunities to improve existing products and to create new ones. Stringent quality control standards for every product ensure that Enviro-Systems’ customers always receive the very best.
